INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC, NSW, 1919, handcrafted fob in gold (9ct, 6.9g, 22x35mm) obverse with initials 'AW' in centre, reverse inscribed 'Presented/to/A.Welsh/as a token of/esteem by the/citizens of/Woonona/for services/rendered during/the Influenza Epedemic(sic)/20.12.19'. Good very fine.

The influenza epidemic killed approximately 6,000 people in NSW during 1919.
