CHINA, scale weights marked in Chinese as multiples of the tael and mace, all are in a shape of axed sycee of the Sung or Yuan Dynasty (ie kidney shaped ), (note 10 mace = 1 tael), weights are 2 mace (7.58 g), 3 mace (11.09, 11.29 g), 4 mace (14.88, 14.63, 15.06, 14.84, 15.04 g), 5 mace (18.29 g), 6 mace (21.87, 22.21 g), 7 mace 25.85 g), 8 mace (29.66, 29.88, 30.06 g), 9 mace (33.29, 33.91 g); 1 tael (37.04, 37.19), 2 tael (74.46 g), 3 tael (110.53), 4 tael (147.83, 149.31 g), 5 tael (186.17 g), 10 tael (380 g), 20 tael (755 g), 30 tael (1130 g) and 50 (tael), some with additional stampings mostly indicating the weight only. An unusual set with some duplication, mostly very fine. (29)
