JAPAN, Tempo Period, chogin and Mameita-gin, base metal, "Po" at each end, (c.1837-1858), (117.7 g), length 85mm, issue with characters at end and six sides, (Hartill 9.50, JNDA 09-68 (52), KM.9b). Very fine, toned and very rare.

Hartill notes the issue has 26% silver.
