COMMERCIAL BANK, Hobart Town, Tasmania, second issue, black and white printer's proof on paper, twenty pounds, Hobart Town, 1st January 18.., imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, a 67mm piece removed at Director signature reserve for cancellation, 'from this' pencilled next to date (MVR.2b). Glue remnants on back corners, otherwise good extremely fine and very rare.
