CORINTHIA, Corinth, uncertain colony, (c.350-300 B.C.), silver drachm (1.44 g), obv. Pegasos flying right, grain ear below (?), rev. laureate head of Aphrodite to right, monogram below chin, (S.-. BMC Corinth p.144, 17-8, CNG mail bid sale 103 [lot 176] same monogram). Very fine and lightly toned, of fine style and rare.
