MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 161, (3.34 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around CONCORD AVG TR P XVII, COS III, Concordia seated to left, holding patera, resting on statuette of Spes, cornucopiae below seat, (S.4882, BMC 185, RIC 58, RSC 39). Lightly toned, extremely fine and scarce.
