Ares helmeted head to right, rev. sword, star over crescent to left, IB to right, **AMI SOU* across, monogram lower left, (S.3643, BMC 1161) (illustrated); Lydia, Sardis, (second - first century B.C.), AE 16, (7.47 g), obv. Herakles head laureate to right, rev. Apollo standing left, **SAPDIANWN* behind, monograms before, all within laurel wreath, (S.4734, SNG Cop. 490v) (illustrated); other 2nd and 3rd century Roman AE and Byzantine, also minor bronzes of Macedonia, Bithynia and others. Poor - very fine. (17)
