ANCIENT BRITAIN, Gallic War imports, (c.54-53 B.C.), Ambiani, uniface crescent arcs type gold stater (6.01 g), obv. plain, rev. M-shaped Celtic horse right, charioteer's arms above, large pellet below, corded exergual line below, (S.11, Sills class 4b, ABC 16 var, Van A 52-1, LT 8710 var). Lightly toned gold, immaculate surfaces, extremely fine and scarce.
