ANCIENT BRITISH, South Western Region, Uninscribed coins, Durotriges, Duro Boat Gold type, (c.50-30 B.C.), gold quarter stater, (1.44 g), obv. three stylised men in a boat, pellet rosette to left, rev. central thunderbolt, Y-shape and irregular shape to left, Y-shape and bird to right, (S.46, ABC 2205, Van A 1225, S 46, BMC 414-18, M 44, CCI 07.1104 [this coin]). Nice flan of good gold, very sharp, brilliant extremely fine and scarce.
