Arthur John Garrard, farmer, age 20, born at Balaklava, Sth Aust; Enl.15Feb1916 at Burra, Sth Aust; Emb.11Apr1916; reported missing 11Apr1917 then POW in Germany at Gef Lager Soltau, captured at Reincourt, France, suffered GSW left forearm and fractured ulna; Repatriated arriving at England 07Jan1919; AWL 18Feb1919; granted leave 22May-22Aug1919; RTA 22Aug1919; Disch.03Jan1920.
