AUSTRALIA, military tokens in brass, Australian Artillery, five cents (21mm), obverse and reverse identical, denomination in centre, around edge, 'Australian Artillery' (Yarwood AUT032); A.I.F. Club, (Tasmania) (23mm), obverse, 'A.I.F.' inside stylised device, reverse, plain (not recorded). Some rust spotting on first item, good very fine, second item very fine. (2)

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 90 (lot 3629), the John Malcolm Collection.

The Artillery token was used at 1st Australian Task Force's base camp at Nui Dat and at the Peter Badcoe Club of the Australian Logistic Support Group at Vung Tau during the Vietnam War.
