QUEEN VICTORIA GOLDEN JUBILEE, 1887, enamel and silver brooch, with safety chain but missing small safety pin, obverse, crown seated on an open book with a garter around and the legend, 'Feare God Honour Ye Kynge', reverse with impressed number, 'Rd.No.50967'. In original case, some fine scratches on reverse, perhaps a name, otherwise very fine.

The design was used by various cities and towns. For example, one badge of this design but with a loop suspension and with the same registered number has on the reverse the embossed details, 'Jubilee 1887 Brede'.
