CHINA, Empire, late Qing Dynasty, multiple stamp and chopped silver ingot, as a silver sycee, fifteen taels or 18 ounce double axe shape or saddle type, c.1880-1900, (565 grams), 93mmx 60mm (at ends) and 40mm in middle, (Cribb -). Fine, a very rare shape.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 92 (lot 2604) where it realised $3400.
