FRENCH INDO CHINA, Yunnan or Burma, silver tael, c1943, possibly made in Hanoi, 40mm, (37.11 g), obv. in Burmese and Chinese, 'Genuine silver one tael', rev. stag head with large antlers in linear circle (Kann 939; KM.A4). Weakly struck as usual, very fine and rare.

A similar example, not as fine, in Noble Numismatics Sale 115 (lot 2118) realised $6,400.
