PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (121-91 B.C.), silver drachm (4.11 g), Ekbatana mint, obv. diademed and draped bust left, wearing tiara with ear flap, long beard, and torque ending in sea-horse, all within pelleted border, rev. **BASILEWS BASILEWN MEGALOU ARSAKOU/EPIFANOU* (S retrograde), archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow. (S.7372, cf.Sellwood 28.3, cf. Shore 97). Extremely fine, lightly toned.
