REPUBLIC, Struck Coinage, Anonymous Series, (276-270 B.C.), silver didrachm (quadrigatus), (6.81 g), Neapolis mint, obv. laureate head of Apollo left, [ROMANO] to left, rev. horse galloping to right, star above, (S.23, Cr.15/1, Syd. 4). Deep old toning, light surface pitting, otherwise nearly very fine - very fine and rare.

Ex RJM Collection with an old ticket c.1930's.
