PAIR: British War Medal 1914-18; Mercantile Marine War Medal 1914-18. Thomas Woolfall. Both medals impressed. Swing mounted but out of order, extremely fine.

Possibly Thomas Woolfall, the father of, or even the same person as, Thomas Robert Woolfall, born 1884, died 07Dec1942 at age 58 working as a Steward on the steam passenger ship Ceramic when it was attacked and sunk by German submarine U-515 while en route from Liverpool to Sydney, Australia via Durban.
