IMPERIAL GERMANY, Oldenburg Infantry enlisted ranks ersatz felt pickelhaube, c1915, a restored composite parts example, one piece felt body with depot ink stamp to the under rear neck guard, original brass spike with replaced spike retaining studs, reproduction bi-metal helmet plate, chinstrap and national cockade with incorrect state cockades, original brass rear spine added, replaced original leather liner taken from a model 1895 helmet, re-sewn into place. Very fine.
