GEORGE II, young head, crown, 1739 roses (S.3687). Countermarked AA in left obverse field, otherwise fine.

Ex Alan McRae Collection, the countermark attributed to Archibald Anderson, who owned a warehouse at 106 King St Glasgow in the second half of the 18th century.
