THE STAFFORDSHIRE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY, established 1844, medal in frosted silver (46mm) by Ottley, Birmingham, set within a watch-style glass bound by a silver frame with loop mount, obverse, farmyard scene, inscribed on reverse 'Presented to/Mr Jas Cornes/Barbridge/for a Registered/Chaff Cutting Machine No5/Exhd at Newcastle Meetg/1862' within open wreath. Partial staining on obverse and reverse edge, otherwise uncirculated.
