THE ANGLO-GERMAN EXHIBITION, 1913, award medal in bronze (51mm), by Elkington & Co, obverse, female figure at left holding a wreath in her extended arm, reverse, flowers above a plaque inscribed, 'The/Anglo-German Exhibition/May To October/1913', below another scroll-like area for inscribing recipient's name, unnamed. In case of issue by Elkington & Co Ltd, small spot of oxidation on reverse, otherwise nearly uncirculated and scarce.

This exhibition was promoted by the Anglo-German Friendship Society and held at Crystal Palace in London. Many considered it untimely due to the mounting tension between Germany and other European countries.
