GEORGE VI, Coronation 1937, in gold (tested as 999.9, 120g, 58mm) by P.Metcalfe, struck by the Royal Mint, obverse bust left crowned and draped, reverse, bust of Queen Elizabeth left, crowned and draped (Eimer 2046a, BHM 4314). Light scratches in fields, spot on King's robe, another on Queen's crown, otherwise nearly uncirculated and rare.

The mintage for the large gold medal was 274.
