UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, black and white uniface printer's proof on paper, ten pounds, Melbourne, 1st March 1878, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, pencilled 'from this' below date, a 62x10mm piece cut from Manager signature reserve as cancellation (MVR 2b). Remnants of glue stains on back, otherwise good extremely fine.
