SICILY, Kamarina, (425-405 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.02 g), obv. galloping quadriga driven to left by Athena who is crowned by Nike flying to right, heron flying left in exergue, rev. **KAMAPINAION* to left upwards, bearded head of Herakles to left, wearing lion's skin, (S.758, Westermark and Jenkins 142, SNG Lloyd 867, SNG Cop 162 [same dies], Basel 311, Gulbenkian 174). Lightly toned, well centred, nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
