SICULO-PUNIC, mint of the camp, (c.300-290 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.49 g), obv. head of young Melqart or Herakles wearing lion skin to right, border of dots, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, Punic legend below, border of dots, (S.6436, Jenkins SNR 57, 420, [Series 5b, obv. die 126, rev. die 345, same dies]). Toned, has been cleaned, otherwise nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
