BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Lysias, (c.120-110 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.44 g), Panjhir workshop, obv. bust of Lysias to right, wearing elephant scalp, rev. Hercules standing facing with club and lion skin in left hand crowning himself with a wreath, monogram in left field, (S.7623, M.1837, M.262a, BMC 5). Lightly toned, good very fine.
