PAIR: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 2. Lieut. T.Gibson. Both medals impressed. Display mounted, good very fine.

Thomas Gibson, 2 Lieut, Royal Engineers 12May1917; to Lieut 12Nov1918; served with Inland Water Transport in Mesopotamia; in 1924 employed in Sydney, NSW by the Australian engineering firm, Ferrier & Dickinson Ltd and it was here that he requested his medals be sent; in 1948 Thomas Gibson of 19 Tower St, Arncliffe, Sydney, NSW was a director of Federated British Engineers (NSW) Limited.
