Claude Wilfred Wallace, apprentice fitter and turner, age 20, born at Perth, WA; Enl.26Jun1915 at Perth, WA with 3 years of CMF service in 86 Infy Bn; Emb.13Oct1915; to L/Cpl 18Apr1916; WIA 30May1916 GSW left leg and right buttock, France; to L/Sgt 23Mar 1917; to Temp/Sgt and then Sgt 01Jun1917; married Rose Annette Kingston, a member of Women's Land Army, at St Margaret's Church, Tatton Keynell, Wiltshire, England on 05Nov1917; RTA 17Jun1918; Disch.09Oct1918; Died 11Nov1951.
