R.G.Woods. 7/21 L.H.Regt. on last medal. First two medals impressed, last medal engraved.; Mother. Pair: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. Sister M.I.Crawford. A.I.F. Both medals impressed.; Son. Group of Four: 1939-45 Star; Pacific Star; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. First two medals unnamed, 439677 D R Woods on last two medals. Named medals impressed. Three groups, the first two groups swing mounted, some ribbons damaged, otherwise very fine - good very fine.

1. Swing mounted matching miniatures for first group; a Returned from Active Service badge no.152929; and an oxidised Rising Sun collar badge.
2. Swing mounted matching miniatures for second group; a Returned from Active Service badge no.246941; an embroidered Australian Army Nursing Service badge; a small silvered pin-back Rising Sun badge; an Australian Army Nursing Service AIF 1916 enamel badge no.715 in 9ct gold (6.28g; 27mm), reverse inscribed, 'Australia's Appreciation; also a tribute fob in 9ct gold (10.86; 33x41mm), reverse inscribed, 'Pres. By/Ellalong Patriotic/&/Welcome Home Commte/To/Sister M.I.Crawford/A.A.N.S/enlisted 1' Aug '16'.
3. A swing mounted trio of miniatures including 1939-45 Star, War Medal 1939-45, Australia Service Medal 1939-45; a gilt RAAF Airman's hat badge.

Robert Grieve Woods and Minnie Isobel Crawford were married at St James' Church of England, King Street, Sydney by Rev. Canon P.A.Micklem on 30 August 1920. In the same year Dr R.G.Woods commenced a medical practice at 'Newhaven' Bourke Street, Goulburn. Their son David Robert Woods was born at their residence, 'Kantara', Goulburn on 29 December 1924.
