Reginald Leonard Hall, born 13Jun1913 at Hyde Park, Sth Aust; Enl.23Jul1942 at Adelaide, Sth Aust; Disch.21Jan1946 as Corporal ex 105 Fighter Control Unit.
Six days after the first raid on Darwin, 5 Fighter Sector HQs was formed there on 25Feb1942. It was renamed 105 Fighter Sector HQs in Oct1943 and to 105 Fighter Control Unit (105 FCU) on 07Mar1944. On 21Jan1945 it became Air Defence HQs Darwin. It was responsible for all air operations over Northern Australia from Broome to Cape York.
