ANCIENT BRITAIN, North Eastern Region, Uninscribed coins, Corieltauvi, South Ferriby type, (c.40-20 B.C.), gold stater, (5.53 g), obv. devolved head of Apollo right, rev. stylized horse left, "anchor face" above, star below, (S.390, ABC 1743, Van A 811, CCI 00.0861 [this coin], BMC 3148-78, M 449). Light toning, good very fine.
