GREAT BRITAIN, George III (1760-1820) retrospective pattern cartwheel twopences dated 1798, obv. Portrait of King George III by Kuchler to right, GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX around, initials C.H.K. on truncation, Rev. helmeted and seated Britannia left, holding shield and trident within inner circle and date 1798 in exergue, around BRITANNIA, plain edge, approx 41mm diameter, thickness approx 4mm., struck in 3 metals, copper coated in gold (akin to the Soho gilt proofs), copper, and bronzed copper, lot comprises 20 pcs of each metal. Uncirculated. (60 pcs)

Struck by INA Ltd in 2008, the total mintage only 750 sets.
