ANNE, Expedition to Vigo Bay, 1702, in silver (37mm) by J.Croker, obverse, crowned and draped bust of Anne left, legend around ANNA.DEI.GRA:MAG:BR:FRA:ET.HIB:REGINA, reverse, view of Vigo Harbour with burning ships inside, a fleet lying at its mouth near a fort, CAPTA.ET.INCENSA.GAL:ET.HISP.CLASSE, in exergue AD.VIGUM.XII.OCT/ MDCCII (Eimer 395, MI ii 236/18). Nearly very fine.
