IONIA, Phokaia, (c.387-322 B.C.), electrum hekte or sixth stater, (2.57 g), issued in 327 B.C. [Bodenstedt dating], obv. Athena helmeted head to left, with serpent emblazoned on helmet, rev. quadripartite incuse punch, (cf.S.4530, Bodenstedt 111, Boston 1913, SNG Cop. 1030, SNG Berry 1086). Good very fine, and rare.
