ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), silver didrachm or nomos, (275-250 B.C.), (7.01 g), obv. head of nymph left wearing diadem and earring, ear of corn behind head, rev. man-headed bull walking right, head facing, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **IS*, exergue line, and below **[N]EOPOLITW[N]*, (cf.S.307, Sambon 511, HN 586 cf.SNG Cop 460, BMC 123, cf.SNG ANS 409]). Toned, scratch on obverse cheek, very fine/good very fine and scarce.
