SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrios I, (162-150 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.48 g), Antioch mint, issued period 162-155/4 B.C., obv. diademed head of Demetrios to right within laurel wreath border, rev. Tyche seated to left with leg of throne a winged monster, holds sceptre and cornucopiae, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **DHMHTRIOU/SWTHROS*, monogram ATI in left field, (S.7014, SNG Spaer 1264, SC 1640.1B, HGC 9, 797, CSE 148, SMA Newell 100). Red golden obverse patina, very fine and scarce.

With collectors ticket at a cost of $499US.
