ALBINUS BRUTI, (c.48 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.51 g), obv. bare head to right of consul Aulus Postumius Albinus, A. POSTVMIVS COS behind, rev. in wreath, ALBINV BRVTI F, (S.428, Cr.450/3b, Syd.943A), RSC.Postumia 14. Slight scratch on reverse, otherwise toned, very fine and rare.

Ex Dr V.J.A.Flynn Collection from I.S.Wright retail and from Noble Numismatics, Sale 62, (lot 2474) and previously from Christie's London, May 10, 1978 (lot 15 part).
