ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE As, issued 145-161, Rome mint, (13.15 g), obv. laureate head to right of Antoninus Pius, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, rev. Minerva to right brandishing javelin and holding shield, around TR POT COS IIII, S C in exergue, (S.4318, RIC 831, C.932). Attractive dark brown patina, good very fine or better and, rare in this condition.
