FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), AE sestertius, issued 161-175 (22.08 g), obv. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, diademed and draped bust to right, rev. MATR[I] MAGNAE, SC in exergue, Cybele enthroned right between lions, (S.5281, C.169, RIC 1663). Dark green toning with earthen inclusions, good very fine and very scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A.Flynn Collection and previously Roma Numismatica with ticket.
