COMMODUS, (A.D. 177-192), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 181, (12.51 g), obv. laureate head of Commodus to right, around M COMMODVS ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around FEL AVG TR P VI IMP IIII COS III P P, S C across field, Felicitas standing left holding scepter & caduceus, (S.-, RIC 314, cf.C.108). Deep green patina, very fine and rare as a dupondius.
