PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), silver heavy antoninianus, Rome mint, issued 244-247, (5.79 g), obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS P F AVG, rev. Pax walking left with branch and sceptre, around PAX AETERN, (cf.S.8939, RIC 41, RSC 102) (illustrated); antoninianus, (4.55 g), rev. Laetitia standing left holding wreath & rudder, (S.8935, RIC 36b, RSC 80); another, (3.76 g), rev. Pax standing to left holding olive-branch and transverse sceptre, around PAX FVNDATA CVM PERSIS, (S.8941, RIC 69, RSC 113). Toned, good very fine - extremely fine. (3)
