FRANCE, Feudal, Bishops of Valence, 12-13th century, silver deniers (4), obverse, +S APOLLINARS, cross pomme with annulet in fourth quarter, reverse, +VRBS VALENTIA, winged angel or eagle facing (P d'A 4690, [Pl.CII, 19], Roberts 4782, Metcalf 19-40, [Pl. 2]). Lightly toned, very fine. (4)
