Albert Edward Howard, railway porter, age 22, born at Wickham, Newcastle; Enl.29Aug1915 at Newcastle, NSW; Emb.02Mar1916; TOS 30Bn 15Aug1916; to L/Cpl 12Apr1917; WIA 29Sep1918 severe GSW stomach, France; following Court of Enquiry in the Field it was found that he died of wounds between 29Sep-01Oct1918; Buried at Bellicourt British Cemetery 13km north of St Quentin.
