GROUP OF FIVE: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 2120 Pte J.W.Crisp 23/Bn A.I.F. on first three medals, V16868 J.W.Crisp on last two. No ribbons with WWI trio, very fine - extremely fine.

John William Crisp, grocer, age 19 yrs, born at Yarrawonga Vic; Enl.09Jul1915 at Melbourne, Vic; Emb.2Sep1915; WIA France 29Ju1916 GSW right thigh and then invalided to England 11May1919; Disch 19Aug1919; WWII Enl.30Jun1941 at Royal Park Vic; Disch.31Mar1944.

Together with gold fob (9ct, 4.4g, 29mm) initials 'TMR' 'JC' on obverse, on reverse 'Band/1925/Side Drum Solo/won by/J.Crisp/Brisbane Contest'.
