CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, engraved on a shaved down English halfpenny with a small pierced hole for suspension near top edge, obverse, a very detailed engraving of a ship flying a British ensign at the rear and under full sail on the ocean, below is inscribed, 'When this you see/Remember Me', reverse, inscribed in 6-lines, 'My hart (sic) is/treu (sic) to non (sic)/but You/the Words are/Sueet wuen (sic, 'Sweet when')/Lovers Meet', unnamed. Good very fine.
