EDWARD MONTAGU, Earl of Manchester, military reward, c1643, oval badge in silver, by Thomas Rawlins?, 30x40mm, (10.53 g), obverse, armoured bust of Manchester, three-quarters left, reverse, arms of Montagu within an ornamental shield, coronet above, wreath borders, (MIi 309/137, Eimer 143A). Cast and chased, extremely fine and rare.
