BATTLE OF THE NILE, Davison's Nile Medal, 1798, in bronze (48mm; 40.5g) by Kuchler, (BHM 447; Eimer 890), with incuse edge inscription, 'A Tribute of Regard From Alexr Davison Esqr St.James's Square. Some surface marking and a small edge nick, otherwise very fine.

Issued in bronze to crew of ships who saw service in Lord Nelson's victory of the Nile, 1 August 1798.
