BELGIUM, 21st National Walking Tour Izegem Fire Department Medal, undated, in gilt bronze with loop suspension and ribbon; National Walking Tour Izegem Firefighters Medal, undated, in silvered with loop suspension and ribbon; Service in Ostend Flood 1.2.1953 Medal, in gilt bronze with suspension loop and ribbon; Belgium, 1978, fire service medal, the Verviers Fire Brigade 'Black Helmets' Medal, in gilt with loop suspension and ribbon with brooch bar dated 1978. Very fine. (4)
Izegem is a municipality in the Belgian province of West Flanders and Ostend is a coastal city in the same province. Ostend was one of the areas flooded in the North Sea Flood of 1953.
