SOUTH AFRICA, scouting prize medal, 1918, in silver (32mm), obverse, wreath and inscribed with the Boy Scout symbol and below, 'The Gerald Legge/Naturalist Cup Competition', reverse inscribed, 'Scout Frederick Hudson/Wall Heath Troop/Winner 1918.', attached to a sterling silver pocket watch chain with a ZAR one shilling, 1894 attached at one end, the other end missing the clasp (tot wt 55.45g). Inscription very worn on obverse, otherwise very good - fine.
