MUHAMMAD AKBAR, (A.H. 963-1014, A.D.1556-1605), silver round rupees, struck at Lahore Mint, IE dates with various Persian months indicated, octagonal borders 47 (illustrated), 49 (2) (KM.94.3); uncertain Mints (3) as square rupees (Flynn regarded as barbarous style); assorted square rupees, uncertain mints dated 986 (2) (Fathpur Mint, one with rings attached), 987, 989, 992 (2), 993 (2), 995, 996 (2), (cf.KM.82.2). Mostly fine - very fine a few better. (17)
